The food here is great and if you like spicy food then the sauce it's good for you and it has good music and I do recommend it but I gave it four since it was very far away from where I live and I will come back again cause the food was good and spicyand it was a little expensive
Delicious foods with all the antojitos you'd like. Menudo, pozole, consomé, tacos, tortas, guaraches, taquitos fritos, gorditas, etc. Priced just right, complimentary beans and all the trimmings!
Early breakfast is good but I came on a Saturday after 12:30 and the barbacoa was very greasy. The gordita was really good. It could have just been a fluke this day but I will try it again. The flavor of barbacoa was good except the tortilla drowned in grease.
I've been coming to this place for years with my family. It has never disappointed. If you're looking for some good tacos or gorditas, please go here! (They usually had free frijoles charros but lately haven't had any). One of my favorite spots in Houston.
Food here is amazing!! I think about this place on the weekdays and wish it was open other than the weekends. I haven't took one person who hasn't liked it here, you gotta try it, trust me!
Taqueria Buey y Vaca, favorite of mine for years next to flea market. Now that they have REOPENED and it's BIGGER. Extended hours. Weekdays starting at 7am.
First time trying the food here and I must say that this is truly one of Houston's hidden gems. When you walk in you'll notice that it's a cafeteria style taqueria and the menu is overhead in bold print, which is easy to see and easy to read. All the food was fresh and looked very appetizing. Plenty to choose from like breakfast or lunch dishes. They also have a salsa and condiment bar with onions, cilantro, a few different sauces etc... The seats are mostly tables and booths with plenty of them, and the service was friendly and prompt. Overall the food was served hot, fresh and had lots of flavor and I will definitely be gonna back.
Best beans in all of H- town! they literally have a pot of beans out and it's like a magical never ending bean pot. So great a lil pricey but worth it... and it's indoors!
I take back what I said about the tamales masa needing to be stiffer I take that back they are awesome after getting home and them steaming themselves in the foil otw home I popped them open and they were terrific
